Plettenberg Bay and Garden Route Tour

This personal, guided tour offers guests a chance to experience South Africa’s magnificent coastal areas around the Garden Route. The tour is offered as an add-on to your hunting safari or as an option to enjoy during your stay with us. Accommodation is at a 4-star boutique hotel on the beach in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa’s premier coastal town.

Cost of the tour is

• 3 days – $1450 pp single, $1050 pp sharing, $800 pp single additional
• 4 days – $1650 pp single, $1150 pp sharing, $900 pp single additional
• includes travel,  personal guide, accommodation and breakfast
• lunch, dinner and activities are for guest’s account.

Itinerary – day 1

• shark cage dive in Mossel Bay to view great white sharks
• view whales, dolphins and other marine life with Ocean Blue in Plettenberg Bay
• wine tasting tour of Newstead, Bramon and Bitou Vineyards
• Bloukrans Bungee– highest commercial bungee jump in the world at 709ft
• dinner at the Lookout Deck and overnight in Plettenberg Bay

Itinerary – day 2 and 3

Choice of activities:

• Ocean Blue Safaris – safaris in the bay to view whales dolphins, seals and other marine life
• Enrico Fishing Charters– runs morning fishing trips in the bay and beyond
• Monkeyland, Tanikwa and Birds of Eden wildlife sanctuaries
• white sand beaches and shopping
• Bloukrans Bungee– highest commercial bungee jump in the world at 709ft
• wine tasting tour of Newstead, Bramon and Bitou Vineyards
• hiking and mountain bike routes along the Robberg peninsula and Knysna forest
• Knysna Town, heads and estuary tours
• dinner at Emily Moon restaurant and overnight in Plettenberg Bay
