Our 8-day Garden Route, Winelands and Cape Town tour is a firm favorite among our guests. This personal tour is fully guided and begins directly from Karoo Wild Lodge or Cape Town. It takes in the sights and sounds of the coastal Garden Route, Franschhoek Winelands and the city of Cape Town.

Itinerary Day 1-3

Depart from Karoo Wild Lodge, overnight (3 nights) in a 4 star boutique hotel on the beach and lagoon in Plettenberg Bay. Choose from a wide range of activities

• shark cage diving or ocean safaris to view whales, dolphins or seals
• deep sea fishing with Enrico Charters
• wine tasting at Newstead, Bramon and Bitou Vineyards
• Bloukrans bungee, the highest bungee jump in the world at 709 ft
• Knysna heads and estuary tours
• Monkeyland, Tanikwa and Birds of Eden wildlife sanctuaries
• elephant feeding tour
• beach hike along Robberg Peninsula, hike in the Knysna Forest or to Otter Trail waterfall

Itinerary Day 4-5

Depart Plettenberg Bay for Franshhoek valley and overnight in a 4 star hotel in Franschhoek (1 night). Activities in Franschhoek include

• hop aboard the wine tram to various historic wine estates, enjoy lunch in the vineyards
• massage and beauty treatments
• museums commemorating the arrival of the French Hugeunots in 1696

Afternoon departure for Cape Town, Overnight at a 4 star guesthouse along Camps Bays (3 nights). Enjoy a sunset dinner with one of the finest views in Africa.

Enjoy Cape Town, often credited as the most beautiful city in the world. Fully guided, personal tour of Cape Town includes
