After 6 months of planning we arrived in Port Elizabeth, leaving Sao Paulo Brazil. We chose this region after several hunts in the Limpopo zone and also Namibia, the first one characterized by dense forests and the last by open fields and vast areas. We wanted a mountain hunt, something new. Our destination: Karoo Wild Safari. Upon landing in PE we were greeted by Nibbs (sharp guy) and from there to the property, about 2 hours drive.
On arrival we were introduced to Victor and his wife Lindsay who kindly accommodated us in our rooms and then went to check if our rifles did not lose their zeroes. At night we were served a delicious meal, local recipe, and excellent wines. The other day, coffee taken, we went on a hunt. First morning: two animals and two misses, kkkk, we were very excited !!! In the afternoon, redone with errors and more attentive (happy to have trained at 225 meters), we started to hit the animals in our package. Sound of shooting and impact is indescribable.
We spent the 06 days of our package walking through valleys, dry and stony laughter, up and down mountains and canyons … a show. Challenging and different shooting positions were additional attractions.
