Stacy and partner Tammy and Ken and Andrea returned for their second 10-day hunt with Karoo Wild Safaris in July. Stacy and Tammy hunted with Victor and Jason guided Ken and Andrea.
Stacy had another successful hunt, getting some lesser known species like aardwolf, bushpig and bat eared fox and adding to his tiny ten collection by hunting cape grysbuck and duiker amongst several others. The highlight of our safari was guiding Tammy on her first African hunting safari. Her joy at getting a kudu after some hard hunting was fantastic to witness and she topped it off with a fantastic gemsbok, springbok, steenbok and impala. We worked extremely hard for warthog and were rewarded by a big warthog on the last afternoon.
Ken and Jason also had a successful hunt, getting an old bushbuck ram, red hartebeest, warthog, steenbok, blue wildebeest, zebra and management eland. The highlight of their hunt was undoubtedly the nyala which made them work for their reward until last light.
Andrea enjoyed a 3-day tour of Cape Town, she was guided to a full day tour of Cape Town and a wine farm experience in Franschhoek.
