Chris hunted again with my 7x64 Brenneke. Having hunted a number of plains game species on previous trips with us, he had a list of plains game species he was focussed on. Barbary sheep aren't endemic to South Africa but have been re-introduced in to the arid areas of the Northern Cape in large numbers. Blue and black wildebeest, red lechwe, red hartebeest, kalahari springbok and a second impala where some of the other species Chris wanted to target.
Lindsay and Mary Ellen spent some time at our guest cottage in Graaff Reinet where Mary Ellen was able to do some local tours of the historical part of Graaff Reinet, visit the town of Nieu Bethesda and enjoy some beauty treatments at the local spa.
It was a memorable 10 days and we're excited for their return hunt in August 2023!
