Redgie has hunted with us for a number of years and his visit is always highly anticipated in the Karoo Wild calendar for his humour and sense of adventure. Redgie's always up for a good time and this year's hunt was one for the books.
Redgie hunted with his 6,5mm PRC and he made some outstanding shots to get his 4th eland, kudu, nyala and several cull warthog. The eland hunt was a stalk of excellence. We had to fight through barely penetrable bush and mountain streams to get withim a decent shot of where the ealnd herd were bedded dowm. Two hour of fighting the thick African bush and waiting patiently for the situation to unfold in our favor let to a terrific outcome and one of Redgie's best eland hunts.
