Hunting Crocodile in Africa

Nile crocodile are found in most African rivers and are responsible for a large number of deaths. Watch the locals, if they approach the riverbank carefully, there are probably crocodiles in the area.

Crocodiles have an average lifespan of 65 years, plenty of time to hone their cunning, hunting skills. They can go without a meal for several months.

Hunting crocodile in Africa is an exercise in careful planning. Stalking a croc on foot is very difficult and they are most successfully hunted from a blind.

Aim for the brain or base of the spinal column. A .375 is recommended when hunting dangerous game in Africa – and a crocodile certainly qualifies.
