Hunting in KwaZulu-Natal

Hunting in Kwazulu Natal takes place near Hluluwe in Zululand and further south near Kokstad.

We hunt red duiker and suni in the sand forests around Hluluwe. Vaal rhebok, oribi, blue duiker, hippo, Limpopo bushbuck, nyala, greater kudu and other plains game can also be hunted in Kwazulu Natal.

Getting there:

After arriving in Johannesburg or Cape Town International Airports, fly to Durban on a domestic flight. Karoo Wild will meet your flight and transfer you to the lodge in the hunting area, 2-hours drive away.

Best Hunting Seasons:

Prime season for hunting in Limpopo is from March to October. The summer months of November to February can be hot.

Terrain:

Kwazulu Natal is a high rainfall area and the vegetation and terrain vary from forests to river thicket to mountain plateaus.

Accommodation:

Kwazulu Natal is largely malaria free. There are low risk malaria areas particularly in the summer months. Consult with us.
