A kudu hunting package tailor-made for the African hunting first timer. The hunt takes place in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. Karoo Wild Lodge is our home base with 1-2 days at our satellite camp on a big five concession in the Graaff-Reinet area. The lodge exudes a quiet luxury and is family friendly. Day tours to non-hunting attractions are available for hunters and observers.

A comprehensive kudu hunting package for the "grey ghost"of Africa. Kudu hunting in South Africa is the ultimate test of a hunter's skill and perseverance. Our area has the highest density of kudu in Africa and we have a high success rate on our kudu hunts.
Hunting gemsbok in their natural environment is a bucket list activity for most hunters. Both sexes carry horns, the horns of female gemsbok are normally longer, male gemsbok have thicker horns at the bases. Use a flat shooting caliber rifle, 7mm or more when gemsbok hunting. Gemsbok flee for the open plains at the first sign of danger.
Often considered the most preyed upon species in Africa, impala are common throughout Southern Africa. Only the impala males carry horns, judge them on their width and depth of curl. Hunting impala can be challenging, they forms large herds and many sets of eyes make stalking them a rewarding African hunt.
Springbok are an iconic South African plains game species. Both sexes carry horns, the males being much thicker and longer. Springbok inhabit the open plains and stalking them requires local knowledge and patience.
Animal species in the hunting package can be swopped upon consultation with us. Additional species can also be hunted. Any species in the package not successfully hunted will be refunded at 85% of the custom price for the species.
